Flying in the Ft. Lauderdale International Airport (FLL) is ideal as the airport is near the port. It is also suggested to arrive the night before the cruise and to not schedule a departing flight before Noon to allow for possible delays.
There are several hotels around the airport and port that provide free shuttle to the port. Additionally, a taxi or rideshare ride is readily available and inexpensive.
A passport is not required for this cruise but is HIGHLY recommended. A government issued id and birth certificate and required name change documents are required in lieu of a passport.
